What is RAF GALAXY?
RAF GALAXY is the new RAF alumni, networking and communications platform. RAF GALAXY is an internet-based site so you can access it from your personal electronic device wherever you are.    

What is the purpose of RAF GALAXY?
RAF GALAXY provides past and present RAF serving personnel with opportunities to extend their relationship with the RAF, to pursue personal and professional enrichment and maintain contact with current and former colleagues.

Who is eligible to join RAF GALAXY?
Current and ex serving RAF personnel, both Regular and Reserve, are eligible to register for membership of RAF GALAXY.

Can I join?
As long as you can provide details that prove you are, or have been, a serving member of the RAF in either regular or reserve service then you can join.

What details do in need to provide for membership?
At registration simply tell us your name, Service Number and Date of Birth and we will verify them against records held on JPA or the RAF Disclosures. If they match, we will verify your application and you will become a member of RAF GALAXY.

What are the benefits of membership of RAF GALAXY?
Membership of RAF GALAXY gives you access to the RAF Alumni online platform, a central hub to learn about the most current RAF community offerings, including:

-News and Community: Read alumni stories, keep up to date with what’s happening in your RAF and stay informed of RAF events which you may wish to attend.  

-Job Opportunities: Keep an eye on, and link to, opportunities to re-join in regular and reserve capacity.

-Aiding resettlement, careers transition and networking: RAF GALAXY members will be able to link in with former RAF service personnel who are pursuing civilian careers in your area of interest, thus providing contacts to further your employment journey upon leaving the RAF.  
 
-Stay Connected: Link in with current and former colleagues, teammates, Sporting Associations, Stations and Squadrons. Joining multiple groups within the platform allows you to have all things RAF under one roof and enables you to stay connected to your RAF family.

How do I join RAF GALAXY and access the portal?
It’s easy! To register simply access the RAF GALAXY portal at https://alumni.raf.gov.uk Once we verify your information, you’ll be an official member of the RAF GALAXY.
